AUTAS Docs
How the firm works, what a seat at the trading desk gets you, the $AND token, and how to connect MetaTrader 4. Everything here describes what's live on feed.autas.trade today.
What AUTAS is
AUTAS is a trading firm that never leaves the floor. It runs 24/7 on a Raspberry Pi in Detroit, split into three roles:
The floor boss
AUTAS itself. Scores market headlines for Dow, Nasdaq and crypto impact, tracks an 8-signal positioning pulse, and trades its own test book on Hyperliquid testnet. Every trade is logged.
The desk quant
Sits beside every trader. Reads a chart screenshot, names the regime, says "no trade" when you'd be chasing, and sizes the position from your risk.
The traders
Holders with a seat. They bring their own charts, keep their own journal, and make the final call on every order.
The $AND token
AND is the access token for the AUTAS trading desk. Holding enough of it in your wallet opens a seat. Nothing is staked or locked.

The liquidity wallet holds AUTAS's own liquidity in the AND/HYPE pool on Project X, set around the current price. The owner wallet holds the owner's desk seat plus a HYPE-only support position below the price. Both are the project supporting its own pool: they never trade against each other, and they sit out holder votes.

Getting a seat
- Hold 10M AND in a regular EVM wallet (MetaMask, Rabby or similar) on HyperEVM.
- Open feed.autas.trade/desk and click Connect wallet.
- Sign a short message. It proves the wallet is yours. It's free and moves nothing — no transaction, no approval.
- Trade. Your seat stays open for 7 days in that browser. Your balance is re-checked about every 10 minutes; if it drops below 10M, the desk locks until you're back above it.
What a seat opens
- The trading desk and the desk quant
- The full news desk (scored headlines and voice clips)
- The MT4 bridge downloads
The landing page, the live portfolio and the status page are open to everyone.
Using the desk
1 · Pick a preset
Two buttons at the top: GMX · 2% · 10x for crypto perps and US30 · 1% for MetaTrader 4. Each remembers its own risk, leverage and fee settings.
2 · Load a chart into the desk quant
Snip a chart (Win+Shift+S) and press Ctrl+V anywhere on the page, or drop/upload an image. Move your mouse off the chart before snipping so the header shows the latest candle. Then press Analyze chart.
- Model: Sonnet (balanced), Opus (deepest) or Haiku (fastest).
- Persona: Auto-detect picks the best-fitting style for each chart — two-MA + regime, trend, smart money, breakout, contrarian, scalper or fund manager — or lock one in. The two-MA + regime rules are also a free TradingView indicator, so you can see them on your own charts.
- Strict trade bar: the quant only calls LONG or SHORT at a price R:R of 1:1.5 or better with confidence 3/5 or higher. Otherwise it says no trade and lists waiting setups — what price has to do first — each with entry, stop, target and a one-click Load into calculator.
- News aware: the quant sees the latest medium and high-impact AUTAS headlines for your market and treats them as a risk filter.
- Follow-ups: ask about the same chart ("what invalidates this?") and updated levels wire straight into Apply.
3 · Size from risk, not margin
Enter balance, entry and stop. The desk works out the size so that hitting the stop costs your chosen risk %. Leverage only decides how much margin you park — it doesn't change what you lose at the stop.
Every setup shows the breakeven win rate after estimated fees, and once you've marked 10+ outcomes in the journal, compares it with your real win rate.
4 · Place it
GMX: copy the order ticket. MT4: execute through your bridge. See the sections below.
News check
If a high-impact headline for your market landed in the last 15 minutes, the desk shows a red banner and asks before sending an MT4 order. Your call either way.
Journal & share cards
Executed orders save to the journal automatically (stored in your browser). Mark each one win / loss / breakeven. 📤 Share this read on X and the 📤 on journal rows turn a read or a trade into an image card for X — levels and R:R only, never your balance or dollar amounts.
GMX traders
Choose GMX · 2% · 10x (or Asset → Crypto perp). The desk builds an order ticket in the same order as the GMX panel: leverage, margin, size, limit, take-profit, stop-loss — plus the estimated PnL GMX will show, so you can check the two match before placing.
- Network fee: copy "Network fee" from GMX's execution details; the desk counts it twice (open and close).
- Position fee: 0.04% per side by default. Under Advanced, enter GMX's "Fees" line and the matching size to calibrate it exactly.
- Liquidation: estimated with GMX's ~1% maintenance margin. The desk warns if liquidation comes before your stop.
The bridge only talks to MT4 — GMX orders are always entered by you on GMX.
MT4 traders
For US30, gold, forex and other CFDs. Each trader runs a small bridge on their own trading PC; orders go from your browser to your PC to your MT4 and never pass through AUTAS.
- Download
autas_bridge.pyandAUTAS_Bridge.mq4from the desk (links under the MT4 buttons, holders only). - Install the EA: MT4 → File → Open Data Folder →
MQL4\Experts. AddAUTAS_Bridge.mq4, open it in MetaEditor and press Compile (0 errors). Remove any older bridge EA from your charts. - Attach it to one chart, tick "Allow live trading", and turn the AutoTrading button green. You want a smiley face in the chart's corner.
- Run the bridge: Python 3.10+, then
pip install flask flask-corsandpython autas_bridge.py. It finds MT4 on its own and should print "EA status: running". Keep that window open while you trade. - Test on demo: pick the US30 preset, set your broker's exact symbol, and send 0.01 lots. The first time, allow local network access if Chrome asks.
Your broker's real contract specs
Brokers size index CFDs differently — one broker's US30 is $1 per point per lot, another's is $5. With the bridge running, the desk reads the real tick size, tick value, lot step and minimum stop distance straight from MT4 and shows them under Asset ("Specs from MT4 for …"). If the specs change the size you were looking at, the desk stops and shows the new size before sending anything.
Real fills
The desk shows MT4's actual answer — "Filled … ticket #", "Pending order placed", or the exact reason MT4 refused — instead of just "sent". Orders MT4 doesn't pick up in time are cancelled, not left to fire later.
Troubleshooting
| You see | What it means / fix |
|---|---|
| Can't reach the bridge | Start python autas_bridge.py on the PC you're trading from. The bridge only listens to its own PC. |
| EA isn't running | Attach AUTAS_Bridge to a chart, tick "Allow live trading", AutoTrading green. |
| AutoTrading is off | AutoTrading button green; also Tools → Options → Expert Advisors → Allow automated trading. |
| OrderSend error 132 | Market is closed. Try again when the symbol trades. |
| Sell limit must be above the market | Limits go on the far side of price: sell limit above, buy limit below. Or use Instant execution. |
| Stop is only X from… | Your broker's minimum stop distance. Move the stop or target further away. |
| Older bridge / older EA | Download the current files from the desk, recompile the EA, restart the bridge. |
| Symbol not found | Use your broker's exact symbol name (e.g. US30.spot) and make sure it's in Market Watch. |
How AUTAS works
News classification
AUTAS polls market news feeds — major wires, the Federal Reserve's press releases and speeches, and crypto outlets — around the clock. Claude Haiku scores each headline for YM (Dow), NQ (Nasdaq) and crypto: HIGH / MED / LOW impact with a direction. Old items are skipped so only fresh news gets scored.
Voice briefings & the news desk
High and medium-impact headlines get short voice clips — Dow and Nasdaq during US market hours (8 AM – 5 PM ET), crypto around the clock — plus morning, midday and closing briefings. Holders hear them on the news desk.
Crypto Pulse
An 8-signal positioning read — perp funding, BTC dominance, ETH/BTC, Coinbase premium, stablecoin dominance, Fear & Greed, BTC/SPX correlation — combined into one score from −10 to +10. See the live pulse →
The trade engine
When news and positioning line up, AUTAS opens trades on Hyperliquid testnet with stop-loss and take-profit attached, in approval or automatic mode, with a kill switch. Every position and close is logged on the portfolio page, winners and losers.
Monitoring
The status page checks every subsystem live, and AUTAS alerts its owner on Telegram if headline scoring stops.
Security & privacy
- Signing in never moves funds. The desk asks for a message signature, not a transaction or approval.
- The seat check is on the server. Holders-only pages are only served after your wallet's balance is verified.
- Your Anthropic key stays in your browser and goes straight to Anthropic.
- Your journal stays in your browser. AUTAS doesn't see your trades.
- The MT4 bridge only listens to your own PC and only accepts orders from the desk.
- AUTAS's engine controls are owner-only — no visitor can change how it trades.
- Share cards never show your balance or dollar amounts.
FAQ
Do I have to lock or stake AND?
No. Hold it in your own wallet. The desk only reads your balance.
Does holding AND give me AUTAS's trading profits?
No. AND is access to the desk. AUTAS trades a testnet book, and holding AND doesn't give you a share of any trading results.
Why do I need my own Anthropic key?
The desk quant calls Claude directly from your browser, so you control the model, the cost and the key. Set a spend limit in the Anthropic console.
Does the desk place trades for me?
It sizes and explains trades. GMX orders you enter yourself; MT4 orders go out only when you press Execute (or approve an Auto-Pilot signal). You make the final call.
Can I use the MT4 bridge at home and at work?
Yes — install the EA and bridge on each PC. The desk always talks to the bridge on the PC you're using.
My seat locked — why?
Either 7 days passed (sign in again) or your wallet dropped below 10M AND at a balance re-check.
Is this financial advice?
No. AUTAS is a personal trading research system. The desk sizes and explains trades; it doesn't guarantee them. Trading carries risk.
